FrogWear™ Premium, Blue, Self-Extinguishing, Anti-Static Disposable Coveralls with Boots and a Hood – NW-COV850FR

These premium disposable non-woven coveralls are blue 65-gram anti-static self-extinguishing/flame-retardant spun lace material and have serged seams. The reinforced triangle crotch provides tear and rip resistance, while the storm flap over the zipper closure keeps elements from reaching the user. This coverall features an attached hood and boots. There is elastic on the hood, waist, and wrists for a secure fit. The coveralls are self-extinguishing as defined by ASTM D6413.

  • Self-extinguishing as defined by ASTM D6413 (less than 2.0s flameout / less than 6-inch char length). This garment should never be used where an arc flash or flash fire hazard is present.
  • Made from anti-static self-extinguishing/flame-retardant spunlace material
  • Commonly worn over top of primary flame-resistant clothing to help protect and expand the life of expensive flame-resistant clothing from dirt, debris, oils, splashes, etc.
  • Breathable
  • Reinforced triangle crotch provides additional tear and rip resistance when squatting

  • Elastic hood, waist, and wrists allow stretch while maintaining a snug and comfortable fit
  • Zipper closure with storm flap
  • Serged seams
  • Designed for single-use
  • Packaged: 25 pieces/case

  • The NW-COV800FR* coverall helps to significantly reduce total body burn percentage when worn as an ensemble with primary flame-resistant coverall garments.  Data from third-party ASTM F1930 Pyroman Manikin test:
  • CJS32 UltraSoft® 7-ounce 88% cotton/12% high tenacity nylon twill, worn singularly as the primary Flame-Resistant garment: 21.9% Total Body Burn Percentage
  • Ensemble of NW-COV800FR worn with CJS32 UltraSoft® 7-ounce 88% cotton/12% high tenacity nylon twill: 0% Total Body Burn Percentage!
  • CJS08 Indura® 7-ounce 100% cotton twill, worn singularly as the primary Flame-Resistant garment: 41.4% Total Body Burn Percentage
  • Ensemble of NW-COV800FR worn with CJS08 Indura® 7-ounce 100% cotton twill: 2.63% Total Body Burn Percentage!
  • The ASTM F1930 test data shows how combining an ensemble of a disposable flame retardant/self-extinguishing coverall over a primary flame-resistant coverall could be life-changing and cheap insurance against serious burns and debilitating injuries.
  • *The NW-COV850FR is made using the same material as the NW-COV800FR, the only difference is that the NW-COV850FR configuration has attached boots and features a hood instead of a collar.

*Designed to be worn over flame-resistant garments. This garment should never be used where an arc flash or flash fire hazard is present. This garment is not flame resistant rated. Do not use this garment for primary fire protection. This flame retardant garment is intended to provide secondary protection and is meant to be worn over your primary protective garments. Avoid open flame or intense heat.

*DISCLAIMER: Self Extinguishing garments are made from material that is not inherently flame retardant, but are chemically treated to become flame resistant. They are NOT designed for use in ARC flash or flash fire applications. When a flame source is removed from the treated material, the material will self-extinguish within a given time frame. The treated material can melt and drip and has a limited life span dependent on washings and what the garment is exposed to. Performance is established using the ASTM D6413 test method.
